COIC Outreach Programs

The Church of Interfaith Christians has two new Outreach Programs.  Actually one, COIC -Diabetics Speak Out (DSO), is new.  The other, Knights of Good Works, has been around and many of you may already be members.  It is back into the support and sponsorship of the COIC.  Both Programs are secular in nature and have web sites and corresponding Yahoo Groups.
The DSO is for disseminating information and offering support to diabetics and their families.  We encourage all in this group that have diabetes or supporting family members or friends that have diabetes to join the group.  You may glean from others and help others by sharing your knowledge.  This is a very worthwhile ministry and if anyone would like to help us with it please let me know. The DSO Yahoo Group is open to the public. (See information below.)
The Knights of Good Works group will be headed up by Dr. J. W. Stansell.  Keep in mind this program is about doing good works and about recognising the people who do them.  It is not about religion.  It is about starting or helping out with programs of good works in our neighborhoods, communities, and cities.  The KOGW Yahoo group is open to the public to join with approval.  We encourage all the members of CoIC to become members of the KOGW Yahoo Group, if you are not already, just to see what it is all about.  (See information below.)

Diabetics Speak Out

This is a new group sponsored and supported by the Church of Interfaith Christians. It was started in support of many of our members who have Type II diabetes but the group is open to anyone battling diabetes (I or II) as well as family and supportive friends of diabetics.  Our purpose is to distribute information about living with diabetes and provide a support group for diabetics. Diabetics Speak Out – Facebook Group

Knights of Good Works

This is a secular organization, not a reinactment group, but a way by which people who perform good deeds in their daily lives can be recognized for them outside their immediate communities.  In fact, it is hoped that in the near future people will be able to start their own “Castles” in their communities based upon the same philosophy.
